I made this enormous cake for Ethan's first birthday (I guess that part is pretty obvious!) Vanilla bean cake with apricot filling and vanilla bean buttercream. Decorations were made out of colored white chocolate and dots were colored buttercream. More photos to come - I haven't uploaded mine yet, but Ethan's mom send me this shot.

Chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream. SO UNBELIEVABLY GOOD! Enough said.

My friend Cathy came by this weekend and we had some fun with leftover buttercream and cupcakes. I can't decide which are my favorites, but I really love all the ones that are smoothed into a cone but there there's the red one with green dots.. hum.. what's your favorite???
